Group of Omnibus Collections, George VI and QEII, starts with a 1937 George VI Coronation collection of 189 stamps (complete) in black mounts in a White Ace album (Scott $261) and continues with two Queen Elizabeth II collections of the 1953 Coronation and 1977 Silver Jubilee. The first contains 97 hinged stamps in a Stanley Gibbons / Rapkin souvenir album including a number of countries (Scott $150) and the second is of 106 stamps (complete) in black mounts in a White Ace album; we checked and noted a dozen pages were NH (Scott $164). We note a few varieties identified by the owner, such as for example a "dot" on the 1935 3d Gilbert & Ellice issue, some shades, etc. The 1935 sets all appear to be hinged, the 1937 Coronation and 1946 Peace sets are mostly never hinged and from the 1948 Silver Wedding to the 1967 U.N.E.S.C.O. set all are never hinged.
