image France Collection of Used in Four Stockbooks, with a few thousand (mostly different) definitive and commemorative stamps in all, ranging from early issues all the way up to about 2013. The early material is a bit mixed, but becomes more organized in the recent years, with many complete sets, especially noting the last 10-15 or so years, where the quality is quite nice, with clean postmarks (usually wavy lines). Also noted a good assortment of revenue stamps and a few Colonies issues. See scans for an idea, clean modern used material is harder to come by. Overall fine to very fine. (Image)

image France Mostly Used Collection in Two Albums, 1852-2008, first part to 1994 is in a specialized Yvert & Tellier album, second part on pages in a binder. A lovely collection for those who prefer nice, clean postmarks, as this is immediately evident when going through (see scans for an idea). Probably about 90% complete for regular issues, with no souvenir sheets present, but does include a good selection of back of the book, including semi-postals. We note a few mint singles here and there, usually in clear mounts. There are loads of complete sets, as well as many extra shades, as prescribed in the specialized album. Postmarks are a mix of clean wavy lines for the modern and clean c.d.s. for others. Very high catalogue value, and should be seen in person to better appreciate. (Image)

image German Area Specialized Collection, all in well-described 102 cards, with many stamp and overprint varieties not listed in Scott and we also noted postmark interest. The owner catalogued his collection in the mid-1990s in German Marks which we have converted to 1 Euro = 1.96 German Marks. Includes German French Zone (€511+), DDR (€5,112) and Berlin (€6,069). There is a mix of mint and used and we saw some never hinged. The collection arrived quite disorganized, and we did our best to properly sort the categories, but some may be out of sort. A great collection for the specialist or dealer, with many better and expensive stamps plus some that were not valued. Values are approximate, see photos for a general idea. (Image)
