½d Queen Victoria Plate Proof in Colour of Issue, a full sheet of 100 on India paper, with the major re-entry on the lower right corner stamp (position 100), showing a dramatic doubling of most of the design, most notable in all framelines and the word HALF, etc. This was position 120 on the original plate of 120. There is a repaired tear on the upper left stamp (position 1) and very light wrinkling of the India paper, mentioned for strict accuracy, and does not detract from the rarity of this proof sheet. Rsv. $9,500 (Image)
