We note countries such as Russia, Indian and German states, Eastern European countries, and much more. From a retired old-time packet maker's estate, and appears to have quite lot of value. Quite jumbled but a careful inspection should reveal some better material, as we have not looked closely because of the sheer quantity. image Worldwide Extensive Collection in 7 Like-New Scott International Albums, to 1971, with the bulk of the collection being before 1968, covering the world except for no Canada, and with a mix of mint and used, with some of the mint being never hinged in mounts. The owner carefully counted 17,170 stamps and catalogued the collection at $8,038 using a 2007 Scott catalogue. The collection is accompanied by a detailed inventory showing values and number of stamps per album and per country. This shows better valued countries such as United States ($287), China and PRC ($155 but now much higher), Czechoslovakia ($198), France ($1,451), Germany ($303), Indonesia ($216), Japan ($349), etc. A very nice collection, with no apparent rarities, still clean and well represented and current Scott catalogue should be much higher than it was 13 years ago. Scans only give a small peek. (Image)

image Worldwide and Canada Collections, with a binder containing many hundreds of stamps from countries of the world, a 1938 "Victory Stamp Album" contains a few hundred early stamps of the world, a Traveller stamp album contains less than a hundred stamps. The Canada is in two albums, the first being a well-filled Harris album, from Jubilees to the 1980s, mix of mint and used up to the 1970s where the stamps become all mint, and a binder contains a collection of mint blocks of four and larger blocks, mostly from the 1970s and 1980s. There is easily more than $200 in face value Canada here, mostly in the 17c to 32c era, with the usual higher denominations. We recommend looking at this collection closely to better appreciate its value. (Image)
