image Portuguese Colonies Mostly Used Collection in a Minkus Album, with issues from 12 states. St Thomas and Prince ($965) has most of its value in used modern sets and sheets such as 528/581, 1242-43, etc. Mozambique ($595) features used 232-55, 1423-43, C11-23, etc., while Mozambique Company ($100) has 108-145, 194-98 (mint), etc. Portuguese India ($190) has 13 and 21 (both mint), etc. Nyasa ($140) come with 1-9 and 94-105 (both mint sets), etc. Also present are some issues from Kionga, Quelimane, Tete, Timor, Inhambane and Zambezia (these with a cat. of $315). Accompanying the album is a collection of Guinea Bissau on loose pages for a further $120. A nice collection, with mostly nice and clean postmarks and overall very fine. image Romania Mint and Used Collection in a Thick Minkus Album, running from #s 21 to 4606, with well over 3,000 stamps, and over 95% complete between 1928 and 1981, and then a scattering of sets, singles, etc. to 2002. Most of the value is in used stamps, such as #s 41-42, 50-65, 75-87, 166-172, 186-206, 384-99, B1-16, B40, B44-48, C1-9, C43-44, etc. There is about $500 in value of the mint issues, mainly from the 1930s and 1940s, including #s 461-62, 588-94, B21-30, B56-76, B148, CB18-19, etc. A very clean collection, with mostly nice and clean postmarks and overall fine to very fine. image Russia Mostly Used Massive Collection in Two Minkus Albums, running from Scott #s 2 to 6168, with a high degree of completion up to 1998. Over 95% of the collection is used, with hundreds of better singles and sets, such as #s 5-18, 23a-25a, 55-72, 88-107, 177-181, 304-25, 909-10, 970, 1080a-83a, 1518-25, B31-33, C75, etc. There is also considerable value in the many long runs of the scarcer sets, for example 479-572 ($880), 647-712 ($200), 845-77 ($325), C20-68 ($1,100), etc. Also present are hundreds of used souvenir sheets. The few mint issues include better such as 596, 1767b, C2-5, C15-19, etc. A very clean collection, with mostly nice and clean postmarks and overall fine to very fine. image Saudi Arabia (Hejad) Very Advanced Mint and Used Collection on Minkus Pages, including many high value items. With 213 different stamps this collection is about 90% complete for the major Scott numbers. We noted Scott #L3b MH unpriced in Scott in MH condition (CV$1,200 for used) but priced in Michel at the same price for either MH or used condition. Also noted MH Scott #22 and 23 (CV $700), #61 MH (CV $2,250), 77a, 78, 79 and 80 (all MH CV $1,230), 116-120 MH (CV $615), 121a and 122a MH (CV $475), 82-89 (mixed MH and used CV $685), no #86 but a used 86b (unpriced as such in Scott but priced €420 in Michel 2013), also MH 121a and 122a (inverted overprints CV $475), #98 MH (CV $950), #100 MH (CV $1,000), 129-131 MH (CV $410) and much more including most postage due stamps. Total 2017 Scott CV is $14,258 plus a few high value items are not priced in Scott. Minor faults here and there, mostly creases, all pages are scanned online.
