Group of Six 12½c Queen Victoria Plate Proofs, with #s 18Pi (three slightly different shades, one with a pinhole), 18Pii (sheet margin single), 18TCii (trimmed at top) and 18TCv. Overall very fine lot. (Image)
Collection of 1859 12½c Queen Victoria Issues, with 9 stamps and two covers, includes two horizontal pair (18a and 18i) and four of the singles are identified by Whitworth position (3, 5, 6, 8). One of the covers was mailed Montréal on MAR.7.1862 and addressed to London England (via Portland, no receiver) and the other cover was mailed to Surrey England (London SEP.26.1865 receiver) but its stamp does not belong (or it appears to have been replaced the wrong way around). Overall a fine or better group, with shades, etc. Catalogue value is for least expensive shades, etc. only. (Image)

Even though the pair has a tiny scissor cut at bottom of margin (not touching either stamp) this is an elusive stamp, with only 100 stamps printed, and is usually offered in singles.
