image Collection of 1859 12½c Queen Victoria Issues, with 9 stamps and two covers, includes two horizontal pair (18a and 18i) and four of the singles are identified by Whitworth position (3, 5, 6, 8). One of the covers was mailed Montréal on MAR.7.1862 and addressed to London England (via Portland, no receiver) and the other cover was mailed to Surrey England (London SEP.26.1865 receiver) but its stamp does not belong (or it appears to have been replaced the wrong way around). Overall a fine or better group, with shades, etc. Catalogue value is for least expensive shades, etc. only. (Image)
