image Group of 73 St. John NB Covers Plus 43 Registration Receipts, 1870s to 1970s, with advertising from Thompson ship owner, Robertson plumbers, Thorne hardware, Goodwin fruits, Estabrooks Tea and Coffee, Williams machinery, Hamm biscuits, Magee hatters and furriers, SQ, Jubilee, Numeral, Edward and on. Stationery, auxiliary markings, meter, censored, squared circle, modern with registered, OHMS, postage due, some slogans, airmail tags, very light duplication in the cover portion, and highly duplicated in the receipt portion. Also include an early stampless steamboat cover addressed to Fredericton. Many are scanned online. (Image)

We note a "1855 QUEBEC PAID" folded cover from the Legislative Assembly, cover with "½ PAID AT QUEBEC" rate (postmark appears to have been pen enhanced); 2 x red Crown Shield covers; Various House of Commons cds, includes 3c and 6c Small Queen franked covers; a 1947 #10 cover with H of C roller cancel, and various other cds or FREE markings and franking signatures.
