image Valuable Lot of Mint Mostly Blocks of Four, 1917 to 1950, also includes a few singles, coils, etc but predominantly nice quality blocks of four, well preserved by their owner for many years. We noted #s 135/148 ($1,356), 168/191 ($1,398), 197-201 ($1,101), 194/216 ($810), 218/226 ($188), 259/273 ($1,264), 302 ($180), C1/C7 ($891) plus a number of other items not counted in the catalogue value including four rolls of coils (468A, 549, 604, 605) all encapsulated in their dispensing boxes, with a few dozen or more stamps left over, some of which also have end strips. Also a few other odds and ends. A good proportion of the stamps counted are never hinged (the hinged ones were counted as such) and are very fine and fresh. (Image)

image 1932 (August 19) Ottawa Conference Presentation Booklet, with a deep green morocco cover and gold embossed lettering, this booklet contains very fine mint never hinged #s 163b, 166, 167-70, 172, 174-77, 190-91, C3 and C4. Only 200 of these were issued, this one is particularly fresh and very fine. Catalogue value given is for the stamps only, with no premium for the booklet. (Image)

image Group of Complete Inscription Sheets of 50 or 100, consisting of over 80 sheets in all, housed in 3 sheet folders. We noted light duplication up to 5 items. Mostly commemorative issues with several better such as #250 (2c War issue), #322-324 (1950s Wildlife issues), #371-372 (UPU Congress issue). All sheets appear to be never hinged with a few showing light gum disturbance and minor separation. Also included are blocks and part sheets with some of the original invoices from the Post Office Department (1950s), and new postage issue pamphlets (black and white) as well as some 1951 Capex cinderella stamps (adherence issue). We counted over $250 just in face value. (Image)

image Collection of Mint and Used, from 1952 to 2011, in mounts and neatly displayed on craft paper pages, annotated with fancy calligraphy, housed in 43 custom binders. We noted singles, plate blocks, booklets, souvenir sheet, coils etc. Appears almost complete for the period (missing some stamps between 1987 and 1991). The majority of the stamps are featured with one plate block or booklet and one mint and used single side by side. Some mounts have yellowing with time, but not affecting the condition of the stamps. We carefully counted a face value of over $3,300. First day covers were removed and are offered as a separate lot. Very clean and beautiful collection. Very fine. (Image)

The lot consists of over 50 sheets mostly field stock, with no duplication (except for two copies of #855). We noted some better items such as tagged Centennials, $1 Vancouver (#600iv Landscape issue), UPU Centenary with very light ghost printing (#648ii) and other minor varieties identified by the owner. image Collection of Better Centennial Issue Varieties, all on album pages with descriptions (mostly from Bileski), with tagging varieties (457pW3a corner block $250; 458W1aR single and block $195; 460fpivG1aR single and block $125; 544piiiW2aL single and block $125), two coil strips of 4 that are part perforated (468Ac x2, $800), printed on the gum side (460fi 3 singles and a block $175), a strip of 7 of 550p which has the top 4 horizontal perforations doubled (apparently caused by a surge in power, sold by Bileski for $250), two strips of 8 of 550 with colour variations (slate, greyish blue and greenish slate).
