image Superior Collection of Fancy Cancels on Large Queen Stamps, all displayed on 7 black stock sheets plus another 23 dealer 105 cards. The collection includes about 190 stamps, with a very wide range of different cancels on different denominations, way to many to list, so all are scanned online. We note better items such as a pair of deep blue 15c on thicker paper, very fancy geometrics, "PREPAID BY PUBLISHER", mail bag seals, a CANADIAN PKT datestamp, crosses, leafs, stars, an OFFICIAL Hechler overprint, RRY cancels just to name a few. Many sought after cancels in this one, mostly choice strikes, as well as more common, and fairly mixed, but would look nice all sorted. About one third of the stamps are identified by the owner and overall fine. (Image)

image Extensive Collection of First Day Covers,1976 to 2008, Housed in 25 Red Lighthouse Albums, each with its matching slipcase (these retail at $119 each, for a total of $2,975 alone). Appears to be very close to complete for the period, with lots of extra and collateral material. We estimate there are approximately 1,750 FDCs based on an average of 70 covers per album. The majority of the FDCs are mounted on pages in pairs, one cover featuring the front and one cover presenting the back. The collection also includes some first day postcards, blocks and singles, souvenir sheets, FDCs with colourful home made cachets, and often postmarked with a St Andrews NB postmark. We noted some event covers as well and many copies of Canada Post new issue press releases to complement the collection. An impressive collection worth close inspection to better appreciate the care given and value involved. (Image)
