1872-73 6c yellow brown Small Queen, Perforated 11.85 x 12, a mint single with full original gum, never hinged. From the first Ottawa printing, an early "one dot state" which is fine centred and fresh. High quality never hinged examples of this early printing are exceedingly rare. Catalogue value given is for the much more common later three dot state, which should not be confused with this rare printing. Accompanied by a 2019 Greene Foundation certificate. (Image)
1877 10c dull rose lilac Small Queen, Perforated 12, a mint horizontal strip of three, with full original hand applied gum, the left stamp is never hinged, middle is hinged and right is very lightly hinged in the upper left corner. Quite a fresh strip, with bright colour and fine. (Image)
