1903 7c straw King Edward VII, a mint never hinged plate block of 20, from top of sheet, with full selvedge on three sides, showing Plate No. 2 inscription alongside a crossed-out printing order number. 1908 50c purple King Edward VII, a mint hinged block of four, from plate positions 87-88,97-98. Originally had selvedge at bottom, which has since detached but is included in the lot (along with photographs, front and back of the block when it had its selvedge). The top left stamp has a retouched "5" in the right "50", which extends into the oval, plus a few other dots here and there. The lower left stamp has a rounded corner at bottom right and tiny gum loss at bottom left. The stamps are fresh with bright colour, and we estimate that not too many of this variety still exist in multiples. Catalogued as fine-very fine overall. (Image)
