1851 6c greenish grey Consort Imperforate on Folded Letter, mailed from La Banque du Peuple in Montreal on JUN.11.1851 (red double broken circle ties stamp) to Kennedy, at 58 Wall Street in New York. The stamp, which has three large margins, plus just cut into at bottom and a tiny tear at bottom right, has a very peculiar shade (almost blue green) is also cancelled with a target in black. The cover has a red PAID plus a red CANADA in arc. Two file folds (one just clear from stamp), else very fine. An early usage of this stamp (earliest is May 12) and accompanied by well written-up page the cover came with, transcribing the contents of the 2 page letter inside. (Image)

1852 3c orange red Beaver Imperforate on Thin Paper, used with target cancel and four margins, but with a light horizontal crease, very fine appearance. Also comes with an 1855 6d Consort imperforate with 4-ring #21 cancel, one large margin, thin and repaired tear and an 1855 10d blue used with tear and thins. All three stamps accompanied by 1982 Greene Foundation certificates. (Image)
1852 3d deep red Beaver Imperforate, used with centrally struck 4-ring numeral, with four very large margins and showing part of the printer's imprint in lower right margin. There is a tiny corner crease at top left, still a very fine and lovely appearing stamp. (Image)
1855 5d slate grey Consort Imperforate, used with a lovely strike of the scarce Hamilton 4-ring #16 (recorded used from March 1857 to early January 1858). The stamp has three large margins, showing the printer's imprint along the whole length of the top margin, and is just touching the inner frameline at right. 1855 6d Consort Imperforate Collection, left intact, with twelve used copies, each described by owner as to its shade (many) or paper (many), one has an imprint at right and two (including the imprint) are sheet margin examples. The owner has also identified 4 copies with their faults (mostly thins, one with a pinhole) and another 8 copies which are sound. Most stamps have two or more margins cut close or into, at least two have four margins (or very close). A rarely offered group, ideal for the specialist collector, or online reseller. (Image)
