image Advanced Collection of Crown of the St Stephen Issue, 1874-1899, all mounted onto over 600 pages,, and with about 21,600 stamps. There is obviously duplication, but still a treasure trove for town postmarks, as well as varieties such as different perforations, watermarks, shades, red and black numerals, perfins, some pairs, and much more, often described by owner. Each issue appears to have at least one (sometimes more) mint example, some of which are never hinged, and noted some better such as a NH #341 ($375), etc. A truly once in a lifetime opportunity to acquire such a quantity of good quality material, and great for the specialist, or collector who wants to take on a challenging issue. image Enormous Collection of the Turul & Crown Issues, 1900 to 1916, all mounted on over 1,000 pages, with a total of about 37,000 stamps. Includes 8 pages of Franz Joseph issues or the same series, with about 280 of those. Includes a wide variety of material and obviously duplicated, but saw tons of neat town cancels, many mint never hinged coil strips, used pairs and multiples, mint blocks of four, perforations, watermarks and much, much more. Many of the denominations and printings have one or more mint stamps, including the Franz Joseph issues which have a high catalogue value (unchecked by us as for watermarks or perforations). Online scans only give a very small idea of the lot, close examination should reward. A once in a lifetime opportunity to acquire such a quantity of good, useful material. (Image)

image Collection / Accumulation of French Occupation Overprinted Stamps, with over 500 stamps, all mounted on 35 pages, with most stamps (but not all) having a cursive "f" below them, likely indicating forgery. Majority are mint, with a good variety of different issues between #1N1 and 1N41, and sold as is. A good opportunity to better study these issues, see scans for a small indication. (Image)

image Mint and Used Collection in Five Stockbooks, 1871-1969, the first two have a stamp collection and includes many shades, varieties, etc of the first definitive sets, followed by what appears to be close to complete collection to the end. Starts off mostly used to 1916, the mostly mint, with CTOs appearing later on. The last three books contain a collection of about 235 different mint (or CTO) souvenir sheets. A nice collection which includes many high value stamps in the early period. Overall fine or better. (Image)

image Mint and Used Collection on Steiner Pages to 1999, in 2 binders. Earlier stamps, to 1916, have been summarily sorted on 4 Vario pages. Inspect for finds. The period from 1916 to 1977 is a mixture of used and mint hinged stamps with more than 80% completion. 1977 to 1983 is mainly mint never hinged and only some souvenir sheets are missing. Good showing of B.O.B. stamps. Noted strong Arad issue, including Sc 2N58 unused (no gum), however we cannot attest genuineness of overprint. A nice clean collection mostly fine or better. (Image)

image Massive Collection / Accumulation of Tens of Thousands of Stamps, 1920s to 1990s, all mounted on about 1,500 pages, with mostly used up to the 1950s (with perfins, postmarks, shades, varieties and duplication), then mostly mint never hinged. We estimate there to be tens of thousands of stamps, including definitives, commemoratives sets, souvenir sheets and lots of imperforate issues throughout (many cataloguing in the $30 to $300 range). A scarce opportunity to acquire such an offering. (Image)

image Extensive Collection of Franz Joseph I Stamps and Covers, 1850s to 1900s, all mounted on about 90 pages, and starts with many early Austro-Hungarian 1850s covers, followed by an extensive showing of Hungary's first definitive issues, with stamps (lithographed and engraved singles, multiples, re-entries, shades, postmarks, etc), stationery and covers (many), a few forgeries by Fournier and Sperati, and much more. Owner paid over $100 for many of these items back in the 1990s and the total catalogue value is certain to be very high. A rare opportunity for the specialist, see scans for only a small glimpse. image Collection / Accumulation of Hungarian 1919 Occupation Issues, all mounted on pages, with several thousand stamps, plus some covers and cards. These include most of the issues under Romanian occupation (Scott #s 2N to 11N), with lots of mint, some multiples, some used, postally used postal history, etc. Also includes a good number of non-occupation overprinted regular issues of the same period. The owner identified many stamps with an "f" for fake, (some say "ok") and Scott warns against forgeries and reprints. Non the less a wonderful opportunity to acquire such a vast variety and quantity of material of this interesting period of Hungary's history. See scans online for a small glimpse. (Image)

image Mint and Used Collection in a Stockbook, 1873 to 2009, with a mix of mint and used, strong in the early years and close to complete up to the 1990s, then gets more and more sparse to the end. Also noted good back of the book including semi-postals, mint airmail #s C1-2 ($60), two mint copies of C3 ($50), mint C4-8 ($240), mint C10-11 ($62), a page of officials, etc. Owner counted about 1,020 stamps with an older catalogue value of $8,000. image Mint and Used Collection on Steiner Pages to 2005, an amazing collection with page after page complete or missing only 1 or 2 stamps from 1920 to 1989. Much of the value is in the British rule period. Noted 1948 Ghandi set, one value mint hinged, rest used. Also 1952 Portraits set MNH. Also very good showing of the Victorian era. Also noted complete airmails and extensive military and officials. Some revenues added in a Vario page at the back.
