image Collection of Postmarks on Piece and on Stamp, with many hundreds in all, mounted on just under 100 pages. The collection consists of 23 pages of numeral postmarks on stamp, either in grids or dots, mostly all mounted in order from #1 to #2828 (some duplication, and most are identified as to the town they represent). We note many different stamp issues, and most of the postmarks are easily readable and well centered. Also contains a collection of various other town postmarks from 1860s to modern, either c.d.s., machine cancels, slogans, squared circles and more. These are on regular stamps as well as a variety of back of the book issues. Good overall quality of strikes, and a perfect lot for the Italian postmark enthusiast. See scans for a small idea of what the lot contains. (Image)
