Saginaw" of the "Clyde" Line, showing Turks Islands c.d.s. alongside, New York and Baltimore datestamps on reverse, negligible vertical crease well clear away of the franking, very fine, only three bisected usages of this stamp are recorded on cover, one of the key postal-history items of this territory: 1969 B.P.A. certificate, signed Bloch (S.G. £5,000). I." cachet, a magnificent strike on 1909, October 14 postcard to Hanover, Germany, bearing three 1905-08 ½d, tied by dispatch by Turks Islands c.d.s., less than five items recorded with this very rare forwarding agent's marking, being unrecorded by Rowe, and applied to mail taken off vessels departing Turks Island Passage handed in to Tatem Store, Salt Cay, to be passed on to the mainland post office for onward transmission.
