Michael E. Aldrich Auctions Sale - 100
100th Live Internet Auction -
April 3, 2020
We are proud to present our 100th Anniversary Michael E. Aldrich Auction
Sale. This sale celebrates over 40 years doing public auction sales in the
United States.
This special sale consists of 100 lots of U.S. and Worldwide stamps and
covers where each lot special unto itself. Quality, rarity, specialized or
unusual were the attributes we were looking for when putting together this
sale. There is classic U.S., some interesting Washington-Franklins
including a mint #544. There are rare Postage Dues and Newspapers. A very
strong First Issue Revenue section along with several other Revenue items
from various areas including some "New Discoveries" in the Match & Medicine
section. Two extremely rare Philippines covers and a plethora of better
worldwide singles and sets. Hopefully there is something for everyone in
this benchmark auction sale.
Traditionally the Michael E. Aldrich sales have been auctions which include
mail, phone, fax, walk-up and internet bidding off our own website and
Stamp Auction Network. In addition these sales are held "LIVE" on SAN.
Any bidder who is interested in participating in the live internet auction
process will need to go to www.stampauctionnetwork.com and click on the
Michael E. Aldrich Auction listing in the index and register as a
prospective internet bidder prior to the closing date of the sale. You will
be given a specific bidder number for that sale. To bid in the sale, a
registered bidder will need to login on the website.
We are excited about the live internet bidding component to our sales. It
is our hope that many of our customers will utilize the live aspect of the
auction for lots that they are interested in.
As always, viewing will be available for the entire auction for the two
weeks prior to the closing date of the sale at our offices in Cave Creek,
AZ.
All lots in our Michael E. Aldrich auctions are scanned and available on
both our website and SAN.
Those interested in viewing the sale in person should call the office for
an appointment. Viewing activity tends to get busier closer to the closing
date of the sale. We strongly suggest that if you wish to view lots for
this sale, do so early if possible to avoid the rush and crowds.
As always we will provide opening bids for this auction on our
www.aldrichstamps.com about five days prior to the closing date of the
sale. We update these opening bids daily and then a couple of times the
last two days prior to the live sale. Openers will also be posted on SAN
five days prior to the closing date.
We sincerely thank all of those bidders that have supported our sales all
these years and we hope to make many new friends with this sale and future
sales. Anyone having any questions should feel free to call the office
during business hours: 480-488-1616.
