The definitive sets include higher values with over $183 in face in the $1 to $10 range alone. The commemoratives and some definitives are mostly 45c, 50c and a few 55c denominations. We note many miniature sheets of 10 of Olympic Gold Medal Winners, as well as many of the former Scott #1406-17 (these included in the face value but apparently not in the owner's catalogue value). Collection of Locals and Other Interesting Items, all on 26 pages, with hundreds of stamps from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, mainly pre-World War I. Noted 35 "Donau" shipping stamps, including imperforates or colour proofs, but forgeries may be present. Several items have the owner's cost from a few decades back, for example $110 for a "Kurhaus auf der Hehen Rinne" label, $210 for 8 stamps "Kalabaluk D.D.S.G.". Some duplication but well worth inspecting. We have uploaded 14 pages online. Knowledge of Austrian locals could make this very rewarding. (Image)
