Each cover received a box handstamp from each town as "unclaimed", along with many covers receiving a "Not Known By Letter Carriers", and a "Dead Letter Office, Melbourne" c.d.s. on the back of the envelope. The lot continues with roughly 120 Australian covers, ranging from 1913 to the 1990s, with the majority from the 1920s to the 1950s. We note a variety of rates, including airmail and registration, along with censor mail from WWII, with frankings from Kangaroos and KGV Heads onward.
