Lot No: 326

image WORLDWIDE ACCUMULATION, includes tens of thousands mint and used singles and sets, contained in 19 jammed packed "black" red boxes in 102 cards, many various countries here with several of the large countries being well represented, also there is some China, Canada, strong G.B. and some scattered U.S., most of the material is identified by Scott number but not cataloged yet, there is duplication with quantities in the 1-5 range with a few higher, not alot of 19th century material but very strong in the 1920-60 period for many of the countries, the overall condition is mixed and there are faults to be expected but really a pretty clean lot, a good amount of work has already been done for this massive holding, we noticed hundreds of stamps with values in the $10-50 range and some over $100 so this is not a "junk" lot with lots of cheap stamps, this lot is unpicked and has plenty of meat packed into it, we are estimating about half this lot would retail out individually in the 60-70% of catalog range given the time period and quality, we are estimating the total catalog value at about $3,000 per box average which we believe is probably conservative, with some work the buyer of this lot is likely to obtain a huge amount of retail value, this is absolutely NOT a normal red box lot, viewing will be highly beneficial to the competive bidder, (ENV 7,500-10,000) (Image)

image WORLDWIDE COLLECTION, includes thousands of mint and used singles and sets, hinged and mounted in five Harris Global albums, many various countries here, the collection runs to about 1969 for most countries and there is B.O.B. material for most of them, the overall condition is very mixed with a fair percentage being stuck down to lightly stuck down, despite this there are hundred of "no problem" sets and singles to work with, values to about $100 with hundreds of items in the $25-50 range and hundreds in the $10-20 range, some of the better countries includes: Hungary, Italy & Col., Liechtenstein, Netherlands and Col., one whole album of So. America, Afghanistan, Albania, China (pre-1950), Congo, Egypt, India and states, Indonesia, very strong Iran, Norway, Poland, Portugal & Col., Romania, Russia, Spain, the catalog value listed is our estimate and it is likely very low given the number of better sets here, with some time and patience this collection will yield a huge amount of value for the worldwide collector, viewing is suggested (Image)

image WORLDWIDE COLLECTIONS ACCUMULATION, includes tens of thousands of mint and used singles and sets, contained in (15) mostly large albums or stockbooks packed into two large cartons, many various countries here, expect some duplication and as is the norm the overall condition is mixed and faults should be expected, in going through some of these albums and stockbooks we saw hundreds of items with values in the $10-50 range and up so there should be considerable mining opportunities for the buyer of this huge lot, given the value here an average of $200 per unit will be a steal but viewing will be a distinct advantage to the serious bidder, don't let this one slip by, (ENV 3,000-4,000) (Image)
