image Venezuela, Classic Stamp Collection, 1859-92, An attractive early collection with a few hundred stamps from the 1859 Coat-of-Arms Issue including fancy cancels, numeral cancels, colored cancels as well as mint, lithographed and coarse impressions. Includes Eagle types and the later Arms issues, with some reference items. Additional pages of imperfs, through to 1865-70 with some better stamps here through to Simon Bolivar with high values, then perforated issues followed by overprints and some multiples. 1882 and 1892 Ships complete, original Maps complete, as well as a little turn-of-the-century and some Back-of-the-Book issues. image Venezuela, Compelling Mint and Used Collection, 1859-1911, neatly arranged on album pages, with useful duplication throughout, the vast majority sound and selected for quality or interest; begins with a mix of coarse and fine impression Coats-of-Arms, followed by a lovel array of octagonal Arms with a broad range of shades presented; shades present also on 1871-76 overprinted Bolivars and Arms issues, some with overprints inverted; mostly singles, but note some blocks of four as well; a highly complete holding with a neat mix of cancel, Postal-Fiscals, Officials, and an unusually well-filled Guayana Locals mix with duplicates; offered intact as received, Very Fine on the whole, ex Professor's Collection.
