image U.S. and Foreign, Multi-dimensional Postal History Compilation, 1800s-1986, presented "as acquired" in two binders, an interesting holding of over 260 items; among the US covers we note advertising/illustrated, Official, stampless, a Civil War soldier's letter and three unused Patriotics, censored, two "Aerial Special Despatch", a couple First Day Covers including Linprint and Fleugel, etc.; while worldwide includes Austria #C1-C3 on cover, stampless Italy and Great Britain covers, German States including stationery, Japanese stationery, Brazil #100 (pair plus block of six) on cover, and an entire binder of over 120 PRC 1984-86 First Day Covers/Maximum Cards; some additional items loose; condition varies but plenty to pique your interest, Fine to Very Fine or better, fully imaged online. image U.S. and Foreign, Balance of Valuable Consignment, in four large cartons, contains an eclectic mix of material, strength is in United States with several remainder collections, some with meat left on the bone, particularly in back of the book material, a substantial amount of modern postage, loose, plate blocks in glassines, sheets, in albums and quite a bit in original post office packages including many year sets, well over $1000 total, also much modern postal stationery much of which is still in post office packages, worldwide is loose, in glassines and in several vintage albums, some interesting covers such as early Canal Zone picture postcards with railroad cancels, a group of 1960's postage due covers with a mix of old and new dues, and much more to peruse, expect some pleasant surprises with a little work; usual mixed condition, Fine to Very Fine overall. image U.S. and Foreign, Varied End-of-Consignment Caboose Lot, with many hundreds of covers including US First Flight Covers, postal stationery including a couple EFOs, plus small group of 19th century postal history; US & UN First Day Covers; stamp odds and ends including US and Monaco, etc.; the best part of the lot is the German postal history, the majority of which is early post-WWII items including popular Bund, DDR and Berlin issues (among which are Bund Buildings, Posthorns, and Semi-Postals, along with Russian Occupation Berlin-Brandenburg Bears, and more) with some interesting Empire and WWII material as well, including a group of five stampless 1900 Feldpost "Marine Schiffspost" covers and a "Futsches Reich" Death Skull on local Vienna cover, Fine to Very Fine with much better, worth review. image U.S. and Foreign, Consignment Balance Accumulation, 1840-1990's, coming to us packed into nine large boxes, filled with USPS year sets, with a number of year sets, many of which are from the late 1980's and 1990's, piles of postage scattered about, a framed classic Great Britain Victoria pane with #1 penny black along with 100+ perforated penny reds, quite a few binders of souvenir cards, with 35+ cover albums filled with approximately 3,000-4,000 covers from the 1920's to the 1990's, mostly first day combination first day covers from 1960's-1990's, plus an album of British covers with a bit of currency, sections of flight covers and airmail covers, including a smaller section of Zeppelin covers, sections of early first day covers with some better cachets, with more notable items which include: several sets of perforated parks, 834, C21/C22 first flights (3 covers, Apr 21, 1937 San Francisco to Hong Kong) and Germany C36 on Zeppelin flight postcard. It's not difficult to already see how we arrived at our low estimate from just the few highlights we mentioned here, but when you get into this lot, you will really see the potential, generally Fine to Very Fine appearance.
