image Collection / Accumulation of Mint and Used Poland, 1918-1967, containing many hundreds of stamps, including souvenir sheets and sheetlets, in two stockbooks. The lot begins with a stockbook beginning with a few Warsaw and Occupation issues of 1918 and gradually continues with an assortment of material including Airmails, Semi-Postals, Offices Abroad, and Occupation stamps. A cursory check indicated better items with Scott #s 43 (used, c.v. $65), 314-316 souvenir sheets of 4 (n.h., $120 total), B29 souvenir sheet (used, $125), C26d souvenir sheet (m.h., $210), C34 souvenir sheet (x2, n.h., $80 total), 2K9-2K12 (2K10 x3, $900 total if genuine). The second stockbook contains primarily mint stamps issued under German occupations, including sheetlets and sets including Scott #N30-N55 (m.h., $57 total), and #NB41 sheet of 8 (x2, $240 total), along with sheets cataloguing $10 and up. A nice lot for the specialist, with duplication up to 5 in some cases, and online scans showing a representation of the lot. Overall fine to very fine. (Image)
