Valuable Norway Specialized Collection 1855 to 2002, all neatly displayed in mounts on extensively annotated pages, in 6 binders. The collection is mostly used until about the 1920s with a mint and a used example of the same stamp in some cases. From about the 1940s the collection is almost all mint and appears to be entirely never hinged from about 1950 and on. Included are a total of 55 Skilling-denominated issues. This is a fairly complete collection in period, and starts with 4 copies of Scott #1, one of which has a clean, 3-ring Egersund cancel (c.v. used $165 ea.), other better stamps include #s 2 (used $150), 3 (x2 used $50 ea.), 7 (used $300), 9 (used $60), 33 (used $50), 11 (x3 used $55 ea.), 12 (x2 used $55 ea.), 15 (x2 used $55 ea), 16a (mint $250), 17 (used $85), 19 (used $72), 20 (2x used $72 ea.), 21 (2x used $72 ea.), 93 (mint $93), 95 (mint $93), 104-10 (mint $73), 275-78 (mint $89), 370-74 (mint $67), B1-B3 (mint $128) and B4 (mint $50). This collection has many varieties represented, such as catalogue-listed shades, perforation and paper varieties, etc. Also included are extras such as covers and postcards which give more life. Mint booklets, pairs etc., boost the face value of the collection, with counting from about the late 1970s and on, a total of over 7,500 Kroner. Overall Fine or better condition. (Image)

Mint and Used Norway Collection in a Davo Hingeless Album, 1855-1970, close to complete from the early 1940s to 1970, including mostly NH material.
