This scarce Union patriotic cover from the first two months of the Civil War features a scarce early design showing Union General Winfield Scott putting a large cone with American Flag on it over Jefferson Davis and a Southern compatriot hauling the barrel of a cannon, with palmetto tree in the background.Davis is seated at a table and has just placed two bags of money on top of it.
