image 1880 1c to 24c large die proofs on pelure paper, group of ten different examples including two colours for each denomination, each proof with diagonal defacement line, comprising 1c in black and blue, 2c in black and vermilion, both values with "D. Feldwick Engr. 16 Holborn E.C." imprint, 6c in black and yellow with "Dando,Todhunter & Smith/Engravers and Lithographers/22 Gresham St. Bank/London" imprint, 12c in red and black, 24c in black and carmine, three with very faint diagonal crease far way from the designs; additionally the later issue with 1881 3c in black and purple, two large similar die proofs on pelure paper with "D. Feldwick Engr. & Design. 16 Holborn E.C." imprint, very fine and rare. (Image)
