1897 (11 Aug) 3s stationery card sent from Tientsin, China to Switzerland, showing violet Tientsin I.J.P.O. cancel, with Yokohama transit. On arrival in Switzerland, the card was franked with 10c carmine and sent from Neuchatel, 1.X.97 back to Tientsin, from where it went through the French Post Office in Shanghai, receiving 2x5c "Chine" overprints franking, also two dollar chops of Tientsin and Shanghai on reverse, with additional transit of U.S.Postal Agency Shanghai (Nov 14, 97) and sent back to Switzerland, arriving Neuchatel 27.II.98, fine and remarkable traveling wonder (Image)
