image Mostly Mint Collection of Ireland, 1922 to 1995, in two new black page stockbooks and a Vario black stock sheet, well organized by stamp issue date. Better sets include Scott #80-82 (NH, c.v. $35) and 147-148 (NH, c.v. $27). We also saw 10 post cards and a cover from 1945 to 1984 with a variety of postmarks or slogan cancels. Also includes a binder containing unused Steiner pages for the period of 1922 through 1997. Overall fine to very fine, with many never hinged stamps and sets, this clean lot would be good to fill gaps in an existing collection, or an excellent way to get started on this popular country. We note the majority of the material ranges from 1922 to the 1990s, with used material in the early years, with a gradual mix of mint and used from the 1930s onward. We note the majority of cards are priced from $3 and under, with some stamps and sets cataloguing $10 and higher. Owner's 2020 Scott catalogue value is $3,720 for the lot.
