We noted many items in the $5.00 to $20.00 catalogue range, with a few in the $100 range. When adding prices marked by the owner (not all items), we come to a value over $2,600. Also included are 60 booklets from Jersey (duplication up to 20 of each) with a total face value of approximately £70. image British Commonwealth Mint and Used Collection and Accumulation in 15 Stockbooks, arranged alphabetically by country and by catalogue number order, from the Victorian era to about 1985. This mostly mint collection covers Aden to Zululand in varying degrees but no Canada, Australia, India or New Zealand. Duplication is usually quite low with very few items in more than five copies. We estimate half of the value would be in older items from the reigns of Victoria and the Kings and half in the reign of Elizabeth for which items are far more numerous and multiple copies more frequent. We noted Bahamas Scott #56 (cv $250), Bahrain Scott #31-4 (cv $132), Bangladesh group of 20 Pakistan stamps with transition “Bangladesh” handstamp overprints, Barbados and other Caribbean countries with many MNH sets to $10, Cayman Islands Scott #44e (cv $150), Ceylon first and second issues and so on. Spaces are provided for missing stamps. More expensive stamps and varieties are marked with colored symbols We noted MNH Michel 27U (CV €120) and Michel 29Ua (CV €200) the latter signed by BPP expert. The 7 Hradcany specimen stamps, overprinted VZOREC are also signed. The collection hardly lacks any basic stamp from one end to the other and most of the empty spaces are for types, varieties and flaws.
