image Czechoslovakia, Doubly Collected in 5 Albums, 1918-86, In a 5-volume Lindner set of hingeless albums, a specialized collection with most mounts housing both mint & used and very often with duplicates. From 1927 on, looks complete and then some! Not only were additional pages added by the collector, but opposite pages were used for varieties and multiples, such as tĂȘte-bĂȘche and gutter pairs, the occasional cover, and blocks & sheetlets, some of which are listed or footnoted in Scott, but some not even mentioned. It is obvious the collector used POFIS as their guide, as there are also many type variations included, even into the modern era. An incredible collection by any standard, and you can view two volumes online to give you a perspective on its scope and extensiveness, Fine to Very Fine. Shipping charges apply - weight 31 lbs. image Czechoslovakia, Mint/Used Collections with 700+ Sheets, 1918-2003, A few not-too-shabby collections on various album pages (1918-92), around 200 FDCs (1993-2000), and some mint postal stationery (1948-99). The highlight though, without a doubt, is the over 700 souvenir sheets & sheetlets (1937-2003). Many of these are only footnoted in Scott, but there are also many type variations which will only be found in the Pofis catalogue, and they can often be 2 to 3 times the regular catalogue value. Some of the better include #288-92 souvenir card (Pofis #A408/412) including 4 different types, 1134a (3), 2042 imperf (2), 2136-38 imperf sheetlets (Pofis #A2273B/2275B) (4 sets) and many, many more. Beautiful and highly collectible, they can be yours if the price is right! generally Fine to Very Fine, additional images available online. Shipping charges apply - weight 18.8 lbs. image Czechoslovakia, Large Mint/Used Collection, 1918-2000, A very clean and well-filled collection into the 1970's hinged on album pages with mint stamps generally in mounts and never-hinged. An accompanying stockbook with 100's of stamps at first seemed to be merely duplicates until I noticed a number of items which were not in the album, such as used 429a, 719 perf & imperf, 556, 1134a, 1554 and an unused card of 288-92 as footnoted in Scott. A second stockbook did not have 100's, but many 1000's of duplicates, mostly used including Bohemia & Moravia and for the most part designated and sorted by Scott number from #1 well into the late 1970's. Czechoslovakia may be a dead country, but the spirit of the Czechs & Slovaks is still very much alive! Overall Fine to Very Fine. Shipping charges apply - weight 18 lbs.
