Collection of Mint and Used Austria, 1945-1982, consisting of many hundreds of stamps in hingeless album pages. We note many mint sets, and includes primarily used semi-postals, along with a small selection of mint and used airmails and postage dues. Better items include Scott #s: 538 (n.h. c.v. $100); B260-263 (used, c.v. $60 total); B269-271 (used, c.v. $85 total). Owner's catalogue value totaled $1,206. The lot also includes a binder of mint and used Spain, containing many hundreds of stamps (with some duplication up to 10 in some cases), primarily ranging from the 1930s to 1970s (with a few stamps pre-1930). A spot check of mint stamps in both collections showed mostly mint never hinged material. Online photos show a representation of this useful lot for the diligent collector. Overall, fine to very fine. (Image)

Mint and Used Collection, 1850 to 2005, on older pages in a rather full, thick binder. This collection has a strong representation of the classics and is somewhat complete from 1919 to 1990, from there to 2005 we estimate the collection to be about 30% complete. Included are the following stamps #s 2 (x2, used c.v. $82 each), 6 (used c.v. $55), 7 (used c.v. $175), 31 (mint c.v. $290), 39 (used c.v. $190), 43 (mint c.v. $75), 77 (mint c.v. $60), C46 (mint c.v. $52), C57 (used c.v. $90), C58 (used c.v. $90). For many issues there are up to four or more examples of each, often with one being mint. The back of the book section is reasonably well-developed as well. This group should total a few thousand stamps, in all. Overall fine to very fine. (Image)

Collection / Accumulation of Mint and Used Austria, 1850-2000s, consisting of many hundreds of stamps, in a binder, with many Vario-style and personal pages. The lot begins with a small selection of pre-1900 stamps (including a few imperforate issues), and continues with a selection of used material up to the 1920s, with a mixture of mint and used stamps thereafter. Better stamps include Scott #s: 269-271 (n.h., c.v. $105 total); C54-60 (n.h., c.v. $267 total), and a cursory check indicates stamps and a few sets cataloguing $20 and up, leaving opportunities for finds by the diligent collector. The lot includes selections of Officials, Airmails, Postage Dues, Offices Abroad, etc. Duplication up to 5 in some cases. Overall fine to very fine. (Image)
