May 12" cds at top right, red "Chicago, Paid All, Direct, May 12" exchange backstamp, carried by NGL Line Rhein from New York May 14th to Bremerhaven arriving May 26th, red "Bremen, Franco, 28/5 70" framed transit, Esens (5.26) framed arrival backstamp; small corner nick, otherwise Very Fine and scarce 10¢ 1869 franking at double the 10¢ direct rate.
