Cat No: Collection
Scandinavia: Sweden, Balance of the Collection, 1855-2014. Outstanding balance in 2 Scott Specialty albums; used to to 1879 (and lacking only Scott #4), then just about all mint and very nearly completel—missing only Scott numbers, 90, 92, 133, 144, 189, 189A, C4 and the two 1924 U.P.U. Congress sets. As for condition: Scott #1 looks Very Fine, but has an S. Kaiser certificate noting a thin spot, but not mentioning a ¼" tear that has apparently occurred subsequently, and #5 looks Very Fine, but has a Obermüller-Wilén certificate stating that it has been reperfed on all sides; otherwise virtually everything is clean and F-VF, NH beginning in the mid-1950s. Estimate $3,000 - 4,000. Suggested Bid $3,000-4,000 (Image)
