image Italian Area, Italy with Offices, Aegean Islands & Vatican City, 1862-1995, In a Scott Specialty album, an extremely well-filled collection up to 1972 and mostly used. Less than 100 stamps after that to 1984 but strong classics, back-of-the-book and a more-than-adequate showing of offices and Aegean Islands. Among the better mint, we have #115-16, 119-22, 124-25, 159-64, 165-168, 255-56, 331-41, 345-48, 349-54, 359-66, 367-76, 400-09, C62-65, E1, Q37-48, Italian Social Republic Q1-12, Offices Abroad 1-2, Offices in China 22, Offices in Jerusalem 6, Aegean Islands C28-31, Piscopi 17-26, Rhodes 29-32, B1-8, EB1, Q1-11, Scarpanto 1-10. Some outstanding used too, such as 37-44, 60-63, 66, 72, 114, 130, 132, 277, 304, B3, C127-28, E12, J3-20, J21-24, J25-27, O7, Q1-6, Offices Abroad 3, Offices in Constantinople J1-3. In addition to a stockbook with hundreds of mint/used duplicates, another bonus is an all-mint Vatican collection from 1929-95 in a 4-volume set of White Ace albums. Although long since pillaged for its best material, looks complete from 1954 onwards and some better still remaining, like 47-54, 149-53, 173, B1-4, generally Fine to Very Fine, numerous scans of the Italian collection may be viewed online.
