image Scandinavia: Denmark, Pay the Ferryman Stock, 1851-1975. Majority of holding POSTFÆRGE-overprinted issues from Christian X to Margrethe II; includes multiples, blocks, even complete sheets of #Q15, Q18 (2, one cancelled) and Q37; fresh throughout, with sheets and several blocks bearing marginal inscription numbers or control numbers; several sheets with penciled notations in margins pointing out printing varieties; rounded out by a page of early Denmark including used #2 (2), 4 (2), 13, 61, and mint #77, 81 and 141 (block of four, never hinged), along with a very pretty Sweden Local (Scott #LX1, Facit #6a3) with 1985 Obermüller certificate, and odds-and-ends modern material from Denmark, Faroes, Greenland and Norway; our estimate does not consider premiums for inscription blocks, varieties, etc., Very Fine on the whole, much uncommon material; inspect.
