Europe (Western), Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg & Colonies Postal History Cover & Card Accumulation, 1890s-1970s, over 300 covers housed in a box with material from the 1890's to the 1970's mostly from the Netherlands and the Netherlands Indies but with a good contribution of covers from Belgium, the Belgian Congo and Luxembourg. Includes early postal stationery cards, Registered, Express mail, multiples, Airmails, First Flights, WWI & WWII censored, and early postcards. Considerable postmark interest with numerous slogans. Items appear to have been sent to a variety of destinations. Several larger-format covers from Luxembourg with 1870-80's Coat-of-Arms issues. Generally Fine to Very Fine condition with some better items and an occasional faulty as is typical for most accumulations. Worth a look and a bid given the very reasonable starting price. Yes, the good stuff is here, like Luxembourg 318-20 (2) 329-31 (2), Cyprus 219-21 (3), 229-31 (3), Switzerland 376-77 (2), Liechtenstein 356 (2), San Marino 490 (3); even some material that would normally fall outside the realm, such as Mauritania C16 (overprinted, both types, as footnoted in Scott) and Paraguay 727a (2).
