Wells imprint on backflap; franked with #65 rose, pen-cancelled with "Somerville ME Aug 7" manuscript postmark above, addressed to East Pittston, ME; the stamp with a small tear at bottom, the cover with a small tear at top; opened a little roughly at left, but design unaffected; an iconic Civil War Patriotic with a manuscript postmark for the postal historian, Fine to Very Fine, with 2003 P.F. certificate.
