Lot No: 97

image EXTENSIVE HIGH QUALITY U.S. MINT PLATE BLOCK COLLECTION, includes several hundred mint plate blocks, mounted in a Harris Liberty album, there are some plates prior to 1920 but most of the value here is in the 1920-38 period, the overall quality is far superior to that of many plate block collections we offer, there are many Very Fine plate blocks here and also a large number of NH items too, some of the higher catalog value mint plate blocks include: 320, 331-32, 344, 346, 367, 370-75, 384, 408, 424-25, 463, 483-84, 503, 507-08, 512, 526-27, 531, 535, 537, 542, 548, 559-60, 564-65, 575, 581-82, 586, 590-91, 619-20, 622-23, 630(SS), 633, 647-48, 662, 701, Wash. Bicent., Farleys, Prexy and Fam. Americans, there is also some face value from 1944-59, a wonderful collection with a huge amount of value and certainly a great opportunity as a starter collection which has plenty of room for expansion or a good opportunity for the internet retailer or dealer to break down, we have included a number of scans for this important collection but viewing it will be a huge advantage to the serious bidder, don't let this one slip by (Image)
