image U.S. REVENUE RETAIL PURCHASES GROUP, includes several hundred various revenues most of which are First Issues, contained on a popular retail revenue dealer's sales cards, each item is identified and priced, it appears Mr. Lewis bought these items but never incorporated them into his collection, it looks like most were bought in the 2007-08 period, about 90% of this group is cancel related which includes many nice SON HC's and many printed cancels, values generally range in the $15-50 range with several items over $100 each, the overall condition is mixed and there are some faults but generally a pretty clean group, the total marked retail is over $11,700.00 and the catalog value should be close to $7,500, a great lot for the cancel collector or First Issue specialist, we have only scanned a few items and viewing will be a distinct advantage in evaluating this important lot, (ENV 4,000-4,500) (Image)
