image Providence, R.I., 1846, 10¢ gray black (Scott 10X2), unused without gum, eye catching example of this notoriously difficult Providence provisional showing full corner margin at top right; why this stamp only catalogs for $725 is a mystery - as it's uncommon in this choice condition; pre-print paper fold in the sheet margin above the stamp is completely natural, could be easily trimmed away, and shouldn't be considered a fault, otherwise Extremely Fine, with 2001 P.F. certificate.

image Providence, R.I., 1846, 5¢ gray black and 10¢ gray black, se-tenant (Scott 10X2a), scarce combination pair, unused without gum, absolutely phenomenal GEM quality multiple - both stamps are Superb examples with outstanding rich color; when it was certified back in 1984 it was regummed - the gum having subsequently been removed leaving a brilliant fresh and choice se-tenant pair featuring tremendous eye appeal, Extremely Fine, with 1984 P.F. certificate describing this pair as "regummed".
