Thousands of strikes, individually mounted and housed in six volumes, much of which is 19th century, organized by either cancel type or city origin, contains numerous common strikes such as numerals, letters, stars, shields but also "Paid", patent and even Express cancels, we noticed a number of better items such as red, green and magenta cancels, overseas uses (Shanghai, Samoa, Puerto Rico), Waterbury cancels, and more, one album is dedicated to New York, F.-V.F. overall, a great basis to build upon.
