image Z-3 Los Angeles Flown, 1924-1925, 135 better US Airship mail from the transfer from Germany in 1924 through the first Bermuda overseas Airmail the following year; includes 26 envelopes and postcards from Germany including several Roessler illustrated cachets, and a mixed franking Swiss and German card from Lucerne; drop mail from the February 20th flight (7); 53 examples from the April 15th flight (2nd Bermuda trip) with bright red cancel; 20 envelopes from the Puerto Rico to USS Patoka flight of April 27th; 9 from the Puerto Rico to Lakehurst flight; and 14 with Bermuda stamps from Hamilton and backstamped Flushing NY; a few are signed by C E Rosendahl; great material, Fine to Very Fine.
