Cat No: 756-765

image 1935, National Parks complete, imperforate and fully gummed (Scott 756-765), complete sheets of 200, each presented in its own heavy-duty PVC holder; detail is clear and color bright on each and, given their age and size, they've come to us in surprisingly sound condition, though don't be surprised to find the (to-be-expected) edge wear/wrinkling/small tears to the selvage; natural gum skips on most, the 5¢ and 9¢ values with small patch of thinning to selvage, and lightly gum-soaked edges (a natural occurrence) on the 2¢, 3¢, 7¢, 8¢ and 10¢ values; imaged in full online—front and back—for your review; note our catalogue value does not take into consideration premiums for arrow, line, center or plate blocks, o.g., never hinged, Very Fine overall.
Scott $22,870 as sets of singles.

Shipping charges apply - weight 10.1 lbs.
Originally issued without gum in 1935 in response to protests over PMG Farley's practice of presenting imperforate press sheets to certain government officials, in 1940 the Post Office Department offered to and did in fact gum full sheets of #756-765 and 769-770 that we sent in by their owners. This program was not widely known so few collectors actually participated, and these gummed stamps are quite scarce.
