image 1925, 2¢ Norse-American (Scott 620), The unique "one plate number only" error sheet, the full pane, with red "2¢" and plate number, but lacking the plate number in black for the vignette; exceptionally well-centered across the entire plate, with perfect registration between black and red design elements; a few margin perforation separations noted between positions 93 and 94, but otherwise intact; Scott lists the plate number error, but this is the sole known example on an intact pane, o.g., never hinged, Very Fine to Extremely Fine, simply breathtaking.

Cat No: 620-621

image 1925, Norse-American complete (Scott 620-621), A full pane of each, affixed to slightly oversized heavy paper backing, bearing multiple strikes of Jan 16, 1926, Washington, DC duplexes (though not fully cancelled), with each backing page boldly signed by President Calvin Coolidge (he may have been silent, but he obviously carried a big pen).

Coolidge, a collector since childhood, had a policy of sending autographed sheets of stamps as gifts to friends, whether they were philatelically inclined or not. The sheets offered here, per the included JW Robinson write-up, were given to Stuart Crawford, Coolidge's speech writer (appointed November 1925). Crawford gave the sheets to a nephew of Coolidge's, Henry Woodland.

Some inconsequential margin perforation separations or stains, but remarkably fresh sheets considering they were affixed in full., Very Fine, a great lot for the Norse-American enthusiast and the presidential autograph collector.
