AN EXCEPTIONAL SOLDIER'S AND SAILORS' HOME SANITARY FAIR ILLUSTRATED ENVELOPE, THE ONLY EXAMPLE WE HAVE RECORDED WITH THE 2¢ BLACK JACK ISSUE.

The Soldier's and Sailors' Home held a fair in Philadelphia Oct. 23rd to Nov. 4th 1865. In addition to the small size design offered here, there were two large size versions produced. This is the only example we have seen bearing the 2¢ Black Jack.
