Portugal & Colonies Collection in an Old Scott Specialty Album 1853 to 1967, mint and used collection with Portugal well on it's way, and an unusually full colonies section. The Portugal classics are reasonably well represented. Included are numerous better issues such as #s 41 mint, 46 used, 47 used, 50a used, 52-56, 74a used, 512 mint, Kionga 1-4 mint, Lorenco Marques 92 / 115, Mozambique 269 mint, 270-287, Nyassa 97 / 125, Tete 25-40, a few well centered postmarks, many Ceres issues throughout, extra shades for many stamps as well as occasionally the mint and the used examples for the same issue. The album is clean with the stamps being of generally higher quality than is typical for the country / period. A worthwhile collection for a somewhat tougher area. (Image)

Portugal & Colonies Remainder Collections / Lots, mounted to various album pages, in stock pages, in glassines and 102 cards. Included is material from classics to the 1980s from a variety of sources. The presentation may be a little challenging, with extensively pencil marked pages, loose stamps, etc., however there are many better single stamps and sets included, such as Ponta Delgada # 1-10 (mint, c.v. $158). We also noted a few postmarks of potential interest and we estimate there to be at least a few thousand stamps. Overall fine to very fine. (Image)
