Group of Six Long Handle Postal Hammers, with the following circular datestamps: Sherkston, Ont., Renfrew SUB 2, Ont., Kirkland Lake SUB 2, Ont., Dundas SUB 5, Ont., Silver, Man. Also includes a duplex hammer from Ajax, Ont. All have long wooden handles, and the quality is average for these, the duplex being the most worn, and all have their complete indicia, dated between 1955 and 1990. Small Group of Interesting WWII Ephemera, with nine items in all, including a mint (unused) "War Savings Stamp Book" printed in blue and red, with illustrations inside and depicting two 25c War Savings stamps; a mint (unused) "War Savings Pledge" form printed in brown on yellow card, depicting Hitler with bombs aimed at him; two copies of "Special I.O.D.E. War Savings Stamp Folder" printed in blue and red with "Save to buy Bombers for Britain" and folded into an O.H.M.S. envelope pre-addressed tot he War Savings Committee, Ottawa; a "Canada's Flag Keep it Flying" petition leaflet from 1945, prepared by the Canadian patriotic Association in Toronto; a mint (unused) "War Savings Stamp Book / Canada Calls for Economy" printed in red, with blue spine by Wood, Gundy & Company; a 48 page booklet printed by the Imperial Order Daughters of the Empire (I.O.D.E.) in 1939, accompanied by a lovely metal pin for the Order, made by Birks and still in its Birks box.
