1846 Seated Half Dime G+ by wear but the coin has damage in the form of a flattening of the right side. The rev remains mostly undisturbed and the coin appears original. The 1846 half dime has been a known rarity since the 1800s. The mintage that year was a scant 27,000, most going directly into circulation rendering even low-grade examples very difficult to locate. Certainly an acceptable coin for the right collection. (Image)
