1760 Hibernia - Voce Populi No "P" NGC VF Details Cleaned w/ Corrosion. These coins are among the several types of Irish Halfpennies that somehow ended up in Colonial America. Theories as to how this happened are as numerous as the coins themselves. This specimen appears to be the Zelinka 2A variety. It has enough detail for an XF grade, and isn't that bad for an excavated coin. It is almost as nice as the one from the Robert H. Gore Jr. collection than is displayed on the Coins.nd.edu website.
