1829 O-114 AU+ with an uneven toning pattern resulting from the way it was stored for many decades. Unfortunately, there are a few light hairlines on the coin indicative of an attempt to remove its beautiful natural toning that have resulted in some dark spots on the obv. Lovely even light golden on the rev. (Image)
1838 Reeded Edge AU. Bright from an earlier cleaning, now re-toning. There is a mark at K9 on rev that looks like a planchet flaw upon magnification. Despite the flaws, this would still be a nice type coin for the series. (Image)

1826 O-116a (R1) & 1831 O-104 (R1) both VF+ or better by wear but rather bright and shiny - no doubt the result of an amateur dipping effort. Nonetheless, 200-year-old half dollars should have a place in someone's collection, so inspect and bid accordingly. (Image)
