Huge Accumulation / Remainder Lot, from Classics to the 1990s, on hundreds of older album pages in binders, in glassines, on stock pages, in 102 cards, loose, etc, all filling two wine boxes. There are traditional collections on album pages, which are surprisingly full, for Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Haiti (along for the ride) and Peru. Other countries with excellent variety are; Nicaragua and Venezuela. There is also a wealth of material from an untold number of sources in 102 cards, on pages, etc. from all over Latin America. Estimates for the total number of stamps from the various countries in this massive lot are; Argentina 6,000, Bolivia 3,000, Brazil 3,000, Haiti 3,000, Nicaragua 3,000, Peru 1,000, the rest 2,000 stamps. Large Group of South America and Latin America Collections in 16 Binders, containing multiple thousands of mint and used stamps (including some souvenir sheets), in many Vario-style pages. The material primarily ranges from the 1880s up to the 1990s (for most of the collections), but does includes stamps pre-1880 and post 1990. We note better representation from: Argentina, Brazil, Chile (including Columbus selections), Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Mexico, and Uruguay. A cursory look of stamps showed mostly used stamps up to the 1920s, with a mixture of mint and used thereafter, and note a number of stamps and a few sets cataloguing for $10 on up. Duplication up to 5 in some cases, usually with a mint and used example per issue post 1950. A good opportunity to examine for varieties, paper types, postmarks, etc, of this vastly, sometimes under appreciated collecting area. Our online scans show a sampling. Overall fine to very fine.
